🌾Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here. This little corner of the world was born from quiet moments and the slow unfolding of grace.I’m a wife, a mama, a maker of home—and a storyteller at heart. I write from a wooden desk not far from the garden gate, where the days are full of dirt-under-the-nails beauty, and the evenings settle soft as a hymn. Here, you’ll find stories rooted in faith, family, and the tender rhythms of simpler living. Whether it’s a novel shaped by Amish traditions, a devotional whispering gentle truth, or a children’s tale full of mystery and wonder—each one is written with purpose, prayer, and deep gratitude for the life we’re called to live.I believe stories can mend, reflect, and restore. I believe words can hold warmth like a worn quilt passed from one hand to another. And I believe, with all my heart, that even the quietest voice can carry hope.So come in, stay awhile. There’s always room here for peace, for purpose... and for the next page.

NOVEL 1 of THE LONG WAY HOME Series

“They came searching for simplicity. What they found was sacred ground.”

When Eliza Harper and her family leave behind the noise and weariness of modern life, they find themselves in the quiet hills of Missouri—where gravel lanes, open skies, and the gentle rhythms of Amish country begin to heal what the world once wore down.

Drawn to simplicity and grounded by faith, Eliza longs for a life of meaning—where bread is made by hand, children run barefoot through garden rows, and friendship is found around oil-lit tables. But building something lasting isn’t without cost.

As her husband carries the burdens of a job far from home, and Eliza tends to their land and dreams of an herbal business, unexpected kindness from their Amish neighbors begins to weave their hearts into the fabric of the community. Through weddings, storms, quiet fellowship, and the steady support of those around them, the Harpers come to see that sacred ground isn’t just land—it’s the life we grow when we choose faith, family, and fellowship over fear.

A tender story of restoration, purpose, and the gentle work of the Lord’s hand in quiet places, Sacred Ground invites you to slow down, savor the seasons, and rediscover what truly matters.

Why I Write

I write because the quiet moments speak the loudest. Because I’ve lived through seasons of silence and found that even when I had no words, the Lord was still writing my story—one page at a time.I write to remember. To restore. To gather the small things and hold them up to the light.I write for the woman searching for peace, for the child who still believes in wonder, and for the soul who longs to feel at home again. My stories are stitched from the threads of a slower life —a life where faith is folded into the everyday, and beauty is found in the breaking of bread, the closing of a day, or the well-worn path to the garden gate. And maybe most of all…I write because I know what it’s like to feel lost. And I’ve learned that sometimes, when we think we’ve wandered too far, we’re really just being led back —to purpose, to peace, and to the place we were meant to begin. My prayer is that you feel seen, stilled, and softly led back to the One who writes all things well.

“My stories are not just words—but seeds, planted gently into hearts that need rest.”
